So this is my first blog ever. I am very nervous. I haven't been doing very well on this challenge. I am staying below my normal calorie intake but not where i want to be. I feel better health wise but I get discouraged easily. I know it will get easier with time ( I hope). The squats are killing me!!!

Oh No!

Well, I managed to do my squats while away but I did not eat within my calorie limits. It was just AWFUL!! I am behind 3 days on some of my points. Travelling is for the birds!! But I am ready to get back on track :)

Hello Aspen Wellness Team!

Are you about ready to kick off the Wellness Challenge tomorrow? I've been stuffing my face with Art in the Park food all weekend, in anticipation of the cleansing that will begin first thing Monday morning. I am so excited to begin this wellness challenge. It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With all that needs to be done, we find ourselves putting us on hold. With good intentions of coming back to focus on us, it doesn't happen, life is too busy.
Well, I say no more!
What do you say team?

Starting tomorrow, I hope to begin a lifestyle change. Be better to myself. Not only to start eating better and excersing, but also spiritually, emotionally and mentally. Whatever makes you feel good, peaceful, restful, calm and satisfied.

Wether it's meditating, going to your favorite spot in the mountains, allowing yourself to gaze at the sky for a few moments or belting out your favorite song in the car on the way to work. Finding something that makes you laugh. Whatever does it for you, like Nike says:

Just do it!

I'm also adding some personal challenges that I know I need to work on. Cooking more, and not just chicken nuggets and fries, reading a good book not only for me but as a family as well, and flossing my gums daily (my dentist would so be proud). These are all things I say I need to work on, but find myself putting them off. Well, no more girlfriend!
Good luck team on your journey to being the best you. You deserve every bit of it, so work hard and take it all in. Use your team member's for support, we are all here to help.

Wellness Challenge

Well, I am very excited about this because I know that I can do better for myself. I am happy that I will have a support system to do it because it easy for me to get out of my routine and not to get back in it. I love coffee and lots of it too, but I also love tea. For me it is hard to find a time to exercise because there is always something that I have to do, but I guess that is not a good enough excuse; once I get started I do enjoy it though, it is just hard getting started :)
Well, we'll see what happens. Good luck to everyone!

I am totally excited and nervous to start this challenge. First I love Diet Pepsi and eh like sometimes well maybe a sip of water. Yikes..... I swear sometimes I hear McDonalds fries calling to me...(they are evil). But, I am going to do my best. I am sure we will all have some fun stories and adventures. Tanner
